EI Parental Sharing Benefit May 09 2018
Last week, the Government of Canada released a helpful chart that outlines the current EI parental leave benefit compared with the proposed changes that are scheduled to take effect on June 1, 2019. The new benefit proposes to provide greater flexibility to return to work sooner by offering a five-week “use it or lose it” benefit top-up when both parents agree to share parental leave.
